F.A.Q

Frequently Asked Questions

Blockchains are an extremely powerful technology, and they are not limited to simply storing immutable accounting transactions. Storing documents is a logical next step and use case.

Subscribers to our platform can commit a given number of final / signed documents per month, specifying exactly who may view those documents in the process. Each document receives a unique tracking number which can then be shared with anyone who has viewing permission. Viewers do not need to be subscribers.

Although blockchain transactions are visible to all (by design), documents can be encrypted upon or prior to being committed (or both), thereby protecting their contents from being publicly seen.

The first phase of our platform will be directly tailored for law firms and lawyers, notaries, and any other professional or individual who needs to store final version documents for future reference.

Our platform is for final version documents (signed documents). It is not meant to be a document management system, nor is it for in-progress document editing.

Tracking numbers provided by our platform are unique, per-document IDs that can be used to easily reference (and access, given authorization) a specific document that has been committed.
